Addressing a high-level panel on technological developments on the battlefield, the Deputy Secretary General explained how Ukraine’s experience is shaping Allied thinking on defence innovation, from unmanned systems and electronic warfare to faster adaptation and decision-making. “Credible deterrence relies on continuous innovation,” Ms Shekerinska said, “Ukraine is learning, adapting and innovating every day, and the lessons Ukrainians are sharing with us are extremely valuable.” The Deputy Secretary General stressed that supporting Ukraine today contributes to the security of the entire Euro-Atlantic area, while helping Allies strengthen their own deterrence and defence capabilities through innovation and cooperation. The Ukraine Recovery Conference brings together governments, international organisations, financial institutions, businesses and civil society to support Ukraine’s recovery, reconstruction and long-term resilience.
