Click the button to return to the page you were on and log in with your new password. 15 April 2026 1 MIN READ On Wednesday (15 April 2026) NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte participated in a meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group (UDCG) in Berlin. The meeting was jointly chaired by German Minister of Defence, Boris Pistorius and UK Defence Secretary, John Healey. Ukraine’s Minister of Defence, Mykhailo Fedorov, briefed Allies on the situation on the battlefield and highlighted Ukraine’s most urgent needs. During his intervention, the Secretary General stressed the need for continued support to Ukraine. He stressed: “We cannot lose focus on Ukraine, even with the many security challenges we face.” Mr Rutte also welcomed new contributions by Germany, the UK and the Netherlands and further announcements of support to PURL and the Czech ammunition initiative. “Today we reaffirmed our commitment to Ukraine”, the Secretary General said.
